Mrs. Epting had long been feeble and bowed down by the weight of years was not strong enough to prolong the struggle. She died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. John H. Claxton, and was buried at Montezuma, surrounded by a concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. She leaves a number of children and grandchildren to mourn.
