I'm still trying to help the person looking for the Robert Taylor cotton plantation. Just had the tip that this might be connected to Taylor Mills.... Does anyone know more about this and the Taylor Mills Road or Taylor Road? 1850-1870 grandfather's name was Robert Taylor and he lived in the outlying area of Ft. Valley. The Taylor family had a cotton plantation and also had a family run store in the area. There is still a "Taylor" road on the old border of their land. Virginia Crilley
