Macon County Citizen - Oglethorpe, Ga. March 15, 1929 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JAMES FRANKLIN HILL - Funeral services for J. F. Hill, 28, who took his own life at Dublin Monday afternoon, were held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery Wednesday. Mr. Hill, who up until a few weeks ago had long resided in this county, was well known throughout this section. He moved from Macon County some thirty days ago, going to Dublin and his death came as a surprise to his friends. It is understood he had worried considerably for the past two weeks over financial conditions, and it is believed he was temporarily insane at the time he fired the shot which resulted in instant death. He is survived by his wife, Mother, Sister and two Brothers, all of whom reside in this county.
