Davis Gammage lived in Macon County, I have acquired pictures of him, his houses that he built here and other local family info. Would like to extend this info to you when available. Ann Stephens Brown, presently in a Nursing Home, shared this info with me several years ago. Davis Gammage was at one time the Sheriff of Macon County, he moved in to Marshallville and became the 1st Mayor about 1870.] Look forward to sharing Gammage info. Davine
