My wife's grandmother was EVA PEARL BOYD b. June 12, 1897 in TAYLOR COUNTY, GEORGIA d. 1970 in PHENIX CITY. Unfortunately little is known making research difficult if not imposssible. I know from EVA's application for a Social Security card that her parents were JOSEPH BOYD and NETTIE WADSWORTH. I also know That in 1945 EVA was living in DADEVILLE, ALABAMA. She also lived for a time in PHENIX CITY, ALABAMA. The only surviving daughter says she was born in 1925 in MANCHESTER, MERIWETHER COUNTY, GEORGIA. My wife's mother was born in FAIRFAX, CHAMBERS COUNTY, ALABAMA IN 1929. An online cousin has told me that NETTIE WADSWORTH is tied into the CHAPMAN family and verified that EVA's father name was JOSEPH . EVA PEARL married NOAH WEBSTER SINGLETON marriage date unknown. I have a picture of EVA and her grandmother and Eva's firstborn( b.1913). The child appears to be about two years old. (dating picture at about 1915) Eva's grand mother looks like she is indian. EVA had two brothers JOHN and BURL. no dates/location are known about them. I did note that JOHN was listed in her obit as living in NORTH CAROLINA.. Other than having no information my problem is tying this family to parents/grandparents etc. Any input will be appreciated.
