I don't have any information on Sumter Co. Willifords but both Jordan and Feriby are names of Willifords from North Carolina. I don't have any specific details but I have come across the names in my research. There was a Jordan Williford who went into Tennessee.
Just read your email, and a suggestion on your Grier family. Am quite certain your Grier name is found in S.C. In fact, there is a Grier, S.C. which is near Greenvillle. Maybe try the S.C. sites also. Greenville, Grier/Greer is almost on the S.C. Ga border at the tnorth east corner of the state. Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Millie Stewart" <millie5@cox.net> To: <GAMACON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 27, 2002 6:56 PM Subject: Re: [GAMACON] Spelman family > Macon, Georgia is in Bibb County.
