You might start with the city/county directories and phone books of Valdosta for the years of interest, if in fact Valdosta has them. The folks at the library have been most helpful regarding lookups [there have been copying/postage fees] If the family were in Valdosta 1920, the census would be invaluable for family information. Not sure when Julie or Julia was born so she might not have been listed 1920. The father was named Sam or Samuel and I am not sure what the wife's name was. It could have been the name Manny or something that sounded similar to that (or something entirely different). They had a teenage daughter named Julia or Julie. This family may or may not have been related to the King family in that area.If this story sounds like someone you know please email me at Sflanagan9@aol.com. This information could possibly help me knock down my brick wall in searching for my roots.Thank you for reading my post and any help would be greatly appreciated. > > > ============================== > Ancestry.com Genealogical Databases > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/rwlist2.asp > Search over 2500 databases with one easy query! >
