I was looking for Albert Jefferson which was actually Elbert. I discovered the name on a death certificate of a Great Aunt. Elbert was the son of Elias. Elbert married Martha A. Collins duaghter of John W. Collins and Mary Giddens(Giddings). Martha's nick name was "Babe" Elbert's children were: Ona Mae m. Bud Bullard Verdie Lee m. John C. Young (my line) Yancy , Cattie m. William H. Young Goalie(Golie) m. George Turner Dollie m. Sam Brown Minnie Most of this family is buried in the Cat Creek cemetery in Lowndes County. Verdie however is buried at Crossroads in Adel. I just wanted to let you know that I was on the right trail.. just had a wrong name. Please let me know if you need more information as I would love to get copies of your documents on Elias.
