Kay, Your Watson connection to Warner Robins may not be to far off. Living in Warner Robins I took a great interest in the Confederate regiments from there, quite a few Watson's enlisted in the 11th Georgia, Co. K, Houston County. I have included them below. Discharged Sept. 24, 1861. Watson, G. W. – Private May 5, 1862. Died of disease at Richmond, Va. Dec 24, 1862. Watson, Isaac B. – Private July 3, 1861. Paid on Jan. 21, 1865. No later record. Pension records show he surrendered at Appomattox, Va. Apr. 9, 1865. (Born in Houston County, Ga. in 1842.) Watson, J. O. – Private July 3, 1861. Discharged, disability, Dec. 7, 1861. Watson, Mathew – Private May 28, 1862. Died of disease at Richmond, Va. Aug. 6, 1862. Watson, R. H. – Private July 3, 1861. Discharged, disability, at Richmond, Va. Dec. 17, 1861.
