How wonderful to hear from you. My Grandmother was Lois Townsend. She married my Grandfather Maurice Closs who was the first taxi driver between Kalamazoo and Plainwell. I know very little about the whole Townsend line and look forward to hearing what you have found as I have not had any luck. I do have a family picture of the Townsends.
