Hill.  Would you please contact me if you have any information on Henry B. Hill.  Also contact me for more information on Charnick This message piqued my curiosity. My husband's grandfather's name was Benjamin Hill Beaty. Benjamin's father's name was Thomas Jefferson Beaty and his uncle (Thomas' brother) was Andrew Decatur Beaty. Andrew Decatur had a daughter that married a man by the name of Selph. The Beaty's were from Lowndes Co. GA area before moving to Hamilton Co.>Madison County, FL and then Thomas and some of Andrew's children moved to Hillsborough County FL. I have never been able to tie down where the "Hill" came from in Benjamin Hill Beaty's name, but felt certain that it was probably a surname.
