I wanted to thank everyone who has sent me information on BYRDs. You have all been so kind and generous. I am thankful for the names you gave me of BYRD researchers, for all the information you took time to look up, I treasure the beautiful photo that one dear one sent me; whether I make a connection or not...it is beautiful! I shall be on the lookout for that name in my searching to hopefully return the favor! Out of this query I posted came the name listed by a cousin as a possible name for the father of my William Frank BYRD 1870 - 1949 ~ who married Allie SESSIONS on February 06, 1895 Lafayette County, Florida [1875 -1927] these b/d dates, are the dates as copied from their headstones. The name my cousin listed as the father of William Frank Byrd was SABRAN/SEABRUN BYRD when I contacted her, she could not remember where this info came from as is was a long time ago when she was just beginning her research, so she could not verify it. Now, another cousin, on this information, found some names for me: SEABORN BYRD married Lucenda GAY on 04 Nov 1845 in Richmond County,Georgia. note: I will have to do some research on the old handwriting pages to try and decipher these middle initials below. SEABORN [J?, S?,? ] BYRD, Listed as an Invalid on a military record from the 1st FL Cav, widow listed as Mary [J?, G? L?,?], a minor was listed as Mary [L?, S?, ?] SUTTON? looks like the word "sister?" written beside her name. The following were on the 1850 Holmes County, FL Census: [no children listed] SEABORN BYRD age 20 born Alabama ELIZABETH BYRD age 20 born Georgia My question is: Do you have a SEABORN BYRD in your data files? If so, do you have a list of children for him? If so, is there a William or William Frank listed? Okay, that was more than one question. <VBG> Thanks to ALL of you for your kindness. Could there be THIS many SEABORN BYRDs? I Suwannee, another question. ;-) Sharon

Not sure when Julie or Julia was born so she might not have been listed 1920. Hello, Everyone... I would be VERY CAREFUL about any sort of appeal like this one arriving via email. I recently received an email detailing "opportunities" in Nigeria. It was just the latest in numerous Internet scams originating in that country. I'd check this one out thoroughly before I sent ANY type of response... Regards, Lee Mathis
Dear Sir, I Asher John general (asherjanus@yahoo.com) sectary of the ngo THE CHAIN, operating in Karachi Pakistan for last two years. We are currently fighting for the reform of the society such as to un root drugs, sexual abuse to the women and children, bounded labor, human rights, to stop the trafficking of women and children, helping homeless, over coming on starvation, environment protection minority rights etc.etc. An eye view of these reforming society operations is as under. In Pakistan drugs are cultivated and processed in the northern tribal areas of the Pakistan. These areas are independent in internal affairs but bound with Pakistan by the 1861 British govt. pact. The govt. of Pakistan has no force to stop this malpractice. Hundred of thousands of drugs cultivated and processed there. The karam agency, northern and southern Waziristan, mehmand, parachanar, landi kotal, Khyber agencies etc. etc. are notorious for drugs cultivation especially for heroin cultivation. The drugs mainly smuggled to the U.S.A, Great Britain, Thai land, Kampuchea, Philippines, Hong Kong etc.we are trying to allure people to leave this malpractice and cultivate some other cash crops. On the other hand we are planning to make hospitals mobile medical teams to cure the heroin-addicted youth. The environment defacing is also a lurking danger not for the Pakistan alone but for the whole world. The industrialists are used to drain the highly dangerous chemicals in the rivers, canals, in the open fields and in the sea. We urge the govt. to made an ordinance to stop such malpractice that is not only harmful for the water life but, for human life as well as. To the sexual abuse to the women and children we are taking major steps. Protesting at radio and TV stations and govt. official are fruitful. Last year police regd. Some 1800 women and 400 child abuse cases. In all the incidents the guilty made escape easily. On our efforts the police made some arrests and dozens of guiltiest sentenced by court. We are giving utmost priority to this issue. The bounded labor is also a major evil in the Pakistan. Hundreds of thousands of poor families are in the prisons of landlords. The police and govt. taking no steps to stop such evil. On our efforts the 30 families of sukkur, who are in the prison of landlord take breathe of independence. We have not stopped yet our efforts to un root that evil. Human rights violation is also a major evil in the Pakistan. The minorities especially Christian and Shia Muslims are worse effect of that. The 292c,294c and 295c amendments of the stae law are the major evils. On the 295c of the 8th amendment of the constitution one can easily blame any minority member of blasphemy to their prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which resulted in the life sentence by hanging. On the other hand the shia Muslims are also worse effected by the other extremist sect that is busing in the killing of the shia people and declared it holy war to clean-up shia’s from the world. We are giving our best intention to that issue. We are highly interested in the un rooting of the women and children trafficking to the other countries. The children are usually abducted to smuggle to Arab emirates notorious for camel racing. The abducted child used to tighten with the camel’s back and when camel racing the noise of afraid child makes the camel also afraid so that the camel racing stormily towards the finishing line. The govt. is taking no steps on that issue because Arabs give millions of us$ aid to Pakistan. But, we know our responsibilities we have wrote dozen of letters to U.A.E govt. and Pakistani govt. to take major steps and use iron hand to stop this evil. Last year some 1200 children from different parts of the country abducted for that purpose. We know our responsibilities to help homeless people. To over come on that issue we are giving residential plots to homeless. The govt. is also responding us by allotting us land for homeless. We get itched to over come on that issue. We are also ware of starvation situation in the Pakistan that is grows and grows each day. We decide to made public food supply center as the circumstances allow us for free for the public use with out any discrimination. Sir, that is the eye view of our on going projects .If you like you can insert your share in this mission in any aspect. Or come in Pakistan and bestow charity by your own hands there are so many needy people and need of other reforms and pass it on . Mailing address is Flat no.e-11 6th floor Mayfair center 95. Depot line sadder, Karachi Pakistan. Telephone: +7226882. asherjanus@yahoo.com.
