    2. Angela Miller
    3. I am new to this list and just recently discovered my gggrandmother, Georgia Ann Carter, was not born in Atlanta but Lowndes, Georgia! She was born on February 25, 1866 to George Carter. She later moved to Arkansas by 1887 to marry my gggrandfather James Brown. Does anybody have any information on this line or are there any connections? Thanks, Angela Miller

This might be especially helpful to the Cannon and Burgess researchers. I have a couple more cemeteries in their entirety that I will be working on as time permits and then I will get into the individual alphabet. The link is: http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~newtonalabama/ Please sign the guestbook while you are there. Surnames: Jowers, McDonald, Rawlins, Carter Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jc.2ADI/562.1.1 Message Board Post: Blind Obedience: A True Story of Family Loyalty and Murder in South Georgia By: Bill Boyd I ordered mine from www.bn.com and it cost $20.00 (hardcover). The story is about the Carter & Rawlins family feud and spans from Coffee Co. to Lowndes Co. from the late 1800's to around 1905/6. Other family mentions...Jowers and McDonald. TRAGIC STORY!! I cried from about half way through it to the end! I highly recommend it. My family was in the Berrien Co. area, but I bought the book just to get an idea of what life was like in S. Georgia around this time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
