One of the last questions that you asked on your 1830 Macon Co mailout to the list is, if anyone knew EXACTLY which part of modern day Trans....County is in which county in 1830? Well, I found a site on the web that gives you the general idea of the evolution of NC counties from 1700 to 1912( same as present ). A WARNING: this is a very general graphical representation of the NC map. There may be some specifics there but, I didn't seem to find 'em.
