I briefly visited Old Shooting Creek Cemetery yesterday. John Monroe Galloway (03MAR1822-23APR1888) had an intersting note on his marker "Joined Bapt Church May 1842". I was just updating my gedcom when I noticed a note that he also happened to marry his wife Jane Glazener in 1842. Possible requirement for marriage? Amazing what a man will do for love.
