    3. I have the same dates as you. The dates are from the Transylvania Co. Cemeteries. If you follow the census records on William J. Galloway and Thomas Harrison Galloway, you will see that their ages are so that Thomas Harrison Galloway is born ca. 1817 (Could his d.o.b. be 22 Dec 1816?). William J. Galloway's census records (1860, 1870, 1880) indicate that he was born ca. 1815. In summary, I believe we will have to base these dates on census records and tombstones. Has anyone personally checked these tombstones to verify what is published? Sometimes old tombstones are difficult to read and 5's and 6's can easily be confused.
