Benjamin Fenn. Jr., and Elizur Wright, of Connecticut; Arthur Scott, John Galloway and David Alexander, of Pennsylvania. Daughter of John Park Alexander and Martha Durand Wright. his wife. Granddaughter of Francis Hanmer Wright and Eliza Fenn, his wife; John Alexander (1799-1855) and Mary Scott (1799-1878), his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of Peck Fenn and Urania Durand, his wife; John Alexander (1773-1861) and Mary Galloway (1768-1825), his wife; Arthur Scott and Anna Hamilton (1767-1848), his wife; Elizur Wright, Jr., and Rhoda Hanmer, his wife. Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Benjamin Fenn. Jr., and Sarah Treat, his wife; David Alexander and Martha Alexander (1742-1839), his wife; Elizur Wright and Hannah Boardman, his wife; John Galloway and Mary Galloway, his wife. Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Benjamin Fenn and Mary Peck, his wife. Benjamin Fenn, (1720-78), commanded a company at the beginning of the war and was appointed lieutenant colonel, 1776. He was born at Milford, where he died. [p.370] Benjamin Fenn, Jr., (1741-80), served as private and lieutenant in the Revolution. Also No. 2371. Elizur Wright, (1722-91), served under Capt. John Chester, of Westerfield, and Col. Joseph Spencer, 1775. Also No. 1591. John Galloway served as a private in the Pennsylvania troops and was honorably discharged. He was born at Gettysburg, 1746, where he died. Arthur Scott, (1761-1843), enlisted when a lad and was at Valley Forge. He was born in Lancaster county and died in Washington county, Pa. David Alexander, (1740-1820), was at the battles of Cowpens and his home was near enough for the firing to be distinctly heard. He was born in North Carolina and died at Dunsport, Pa.
