Trying to look at Wilkes before there was Lincoln County, I came upon a man named McGinty that had information about tax lists. I had found a drawn image of plats that shows John Querns in the middle of many prosperous land owners that were in Wilkes on a website called "hiddenancestors" Mr. McGinty suggested I try to find Paul Graham and said that Mr. Graham had drawn something out about plats for Lincoln County.
