My McKee family was in Newberry County SC from before 1800. Robert b in Ireland ca 1756. Wife Mary d 1801. Son Joseph d 1843. Robert d 1831. Samuel stayed in Newberry and d ca 1865. William and James went to AL by 1834 where James wife, Mary Gore d 1841. William m Anna Scott d/o John. They went to GA in Fayette and then to Randolph County AL, then to Cleburne Co where they were on the 1880 census. Believe your McKee family was in Randolph also, weren't they?
