I requested a CSA monument for my ancestor Zachariah W. Henderson from the Veterans Administration and surprisingly the paperwork was not bad at all that I had to complete for the free marble monument. If your ancestor does not have a monument of any kind on his grave, they will provide the marker for you with no shipping charge, you only have to erect the monument after it's delivered. My Henderson ancestor is buried at Goshen Baptist Church. If anyone does have a picture of the regiment below, please share it with this list. Good luck with this project, Diane. Members of the Paradise Family are planning to mark his grave this spring and would very much like a picture of either James or a picture of the regiment (perhaps taken at a reunion).
