Are Melinda and Vilenia the same person? Jonathan was married first to an Orr then to a Moncrief. It is said that Jacob Ammons Sr. was the son of John and Elizabeth Grice/Guice Ammons. They were from NC then settled in SC. Jacob Sr. died around 1831 and his will was probated in Lincoln Co.
