Thier daughter, Florentine, married Stephen Barfield and lived in Palestine Township of Bradley County, Arkansas. I believe she and Stephen are buried in Johnsville Cemetery. (I think that's the name of it.) I've heard that there are still people living there of the York and Barfield family, but I don't know about the Florence family. If anyone knows anything, it'd probably be in Bardley County, although where- I don't know, or in the land records in Georgia. There should be something on Jane's parents, whether they owned land or not. If you where John and Jane Florence were married, the county and state, that would be the best place to start. Court and marriage records should tell where the people are from and how old they were. I know of a copy of John's grand daughter, Florentine, marriage or death certificate. Something like that would help. Other than that I don't know anything else right now. I hope at least some of this helps.
