I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Dianne Poteat on the death of her husband, Johnny Poteat. Dianne has contributed so much to the genealogy and research for Lincoln County. She has assisted in many Lincoln County historical projects and is always willing to help researchers. Mr. Poteat passed away Sunday, Sep 3 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington, GA. Graveside services will be held today, Tuesday, Sep 5 at 11 am at Double Branches Baptist Church. Liz Nash
