My grandfather (James Jefferson EVANS) was sent to Harris County in the early 1880's to live with his half brothers grandparents after his step mother's death. There are Evans and families related to Arnett . There is a John Quirns(Qearns) Arnett line .. Robert Coleman Arnett line .. with these. Trying to research these leads me to a cemetary with a marked grave with seashells, and many unmarked burials. Some of these Arnett were from Chester.. they mix with the Cullars in Wilkes and Lincoln Counties, and I cannot get time to actually get back over to research into these lines.
