Yes, this is a website but there is not much traffic on it. I am grateful that it is here. Perhaps some people will become active later. The genealogy bug seems to bite at different times for most people. betty in ga ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patsy" <tom-patsy@centurytel.net> To: <galincol@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2007 9:12 PM Subject: [GALINCOL] hello > Does anybody help on this website? I watch for information on this site. I'm too far away to help anyone, but I have seen others help. Does anyone have an idea of how to increase the traffic on this list? Maybe if we listed the names we are looking for in Lincoln County. My interests are in Murray, Norman, Glaze, Jones, Crook. We have some connection to Hawes and others. I am researching the Anthony Stribling family of Lincoln Co. GA, around 1800-1830's, formerly of Wilkes Co. He was a constable in Lincoln Co. in 1804. I think they lived in the Pistol Creek area. Haven't looked at this in a while. Cynthia
Cynthia, I do have some information on the Striblins who married into the Rhodes family of Wilkes and Lincoln Counties. Are you all talking about the Striblins family who had the boxer in later years? I think a bridge in Macon GA is named for him. This is all that I know. betty in ga ----- Original Message ----- From: "cjohnson284" <cjohnson284@comcast.net> To: <galincol@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 01, 2007 7:33 PM Subject: Re: [GALINCOL] hello--reply > Cynthia, > > I do have some information on the Striblins who married into the Rhodes > family of Wilkes and Lincoln Counties. > > Frances > > -----Original Message----- > From: galincol-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:galincol-bounces@rootsweb.com] > On Behalf Of Cynthia Dean > Sent: Sunday, April 29, 2007 9:38 AM > To: galincol@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [GALINCOL] hello--reply > > I am researching the Anthony Stribling family of Lincoln Co.
