Mildred was born on February 5, 1932, to Walter and Mattie Cox of Lincolnton, GA. Mildred is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, M. Chris Mogannam and two children, Christopher Mogannam and wife Beatriz, Juliette Morrow and husband John; and seven grandchildren Matthew Mogannam, Rebekah Mogannam, Andrew Hale, Eric Pena, Miles Morrow, Daniel Morrow, and Luke Morrow. She is also survived by her three sisters Lena Johnson and husband David; Barbara Andrews and husband Eddie Lee; and Bonnie Logan and husband Greg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Trisagion Prayer service following at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007, at St. George Orthodox Church, 5311 Mercer St. at Bissonnet. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at St. George Orthodox Church with burial to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. ! In lieu of the usual remembrances, memorial gifts may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to a charity of your choice.
