    3. I have a good deal of information on the Wrights of Lincoln County and some information on the Florence family, but I have no evidence that the Wrights were Huguenots. There were several Huguenot families that migrated to Lincoln County from New Bordeaux, South Carolina. If you would like more information please contact me at cjohnson284@comcast.net. 3. Betty, I have a lot of information on the Peyton Wyatt Norman family. He was named for Peyton Wyatt who was a neighbor of his father William Harrison Norman and grandfather William Norman. Peyton Wyatt's wife was named Hannah. He was an early resident of Lincoln County. Peyton Wyatt is mentioned as early as 1794 when Lincoln was a part of Wilkes County. 3. Hi, I am trying to establish the parents of Joseph S. Harris who was in Lincoln County as early as 1813 when he married Nancy Tatom/Tatam. I know he was there as late as 1818/1819 when he purchased land fronm Jno Harris. If you don't mind looking to see if there are any wills under the surname Harris in your index? I could then order the film from the LDS and look at each one to see if my Joseph shows up. Thank you for your efforts in helping people find their lost ancestry. I am trying to locate my brick wall, Alexander MADDUX (also spelled MADDOX & MATTOX). I know that he existed, and that he died before 1810 as he is mentioned in another estate (unfortunately, no county is mentioned). It is rumored Alexander died in Greene County, but I have personally been to Greene County searched the courthouse thoroughly. I can find no probate or land records for Alexander in Greene County. I have been to four counties total and have not found his estate. The cost of these fruitless trips is beginning to add up; especially since I have no other choice than to systematically search all early counties in GA. I know Alexander died before 1810, and I know he had an estate, but it's unclear as to which county he died. So, if you have a will book available for this county, will you please look for Alexander MADDUX? I appreciate your time and help very much. Thank you!
