    2. Don Burge
    3. Anybody have info on the Curry-Bussey family discussed below? Nathaniel Curry and Charlotte Bussey's (b. abt 1790 d.1838) daughter Judith, who married Robert Curry, ended up in Augusta according to the 1870 census. She and Robert and their son George are on the census. George is listed as a stock broker and Robert is listed as a retired broker. In the 1880 census, Robert is listed as a widower and George is listed as a banker with wife Catherine and children, Robert, Frank H., Anna, John C. and Rebie. Robert is shown as living with them at that time, along with two women. Judith Curry is James Madison Curry's sister. She also went by the nickname Judea. She and Robert also had two daughters, Frances I. (or J.) Curry and Mary Caver Curry. The family is shown as living in Ringgold, Walker County in 1850 and in Graysville, Catoosa County in 1860. Frances is not listed on the 1860 census, so she might have been married by then. Mary is not shown on the 1870 census - probably married. Charlotte's Bussey, d/oThomas Bussey (b. 1742 d. 1825) and Judith Walton, had 2 brothers Malakia and Bartlett. She died in Grays Creek, Lincoln Co. GA.

His estate settlement is in Lincoln Co.. I have the information from, I guess you'd say abstracts, that a person sent to me. Is it in the book you have named, or what? I have a list of the names of the persons who were executors, but I need the part where Wm. Golden received on behalf of his wife Mary Elizabeth (Polly) certain things from the estate. I have proof that these two were md., but what I need is proof that she was Shadrack Turner's dtr. I did have it but lost it. Is it in the book you are talking about? Look forward to hearing from you. J.H. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. I have the book "Lincoln County Genealogy and History" by Robert Davis, Jr. and James Dorsey. It has the will books listed and I did not find Shadrack Turner in the will books. The will books are: Wills, Book A 1796-1807 Wills, Book B 1807-1832; Wills Book 3 - no dates given. I did find him listed in the estate records of the book. If there is another book, maybe someone can find him there. Next time I am in Lincoln County, I will check the courthouse to see what they have.
