    2. Thanks for your reply -- but did you mean to suggest someplace where a scan can be posted? -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: [GALICIA] Translation Help From: Roman <romanka@comcast.net> Date: Tue, December 23, 2008 12:22 pm To: galicia@rootsweb.com Steve, Most fora will not allow attachments. However, here are various places where you can post the document. Without the ability to preview the document and make an assessment of the handwriting, legibility, language and the amount of work involved, it is unlikely that people will be able to help you. 3. I don't think any RootsWeb fora provide a location to post documents. However, Yahoo Groups does allow it. There is the Galicia_Poland-Ukraine forum at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Galicia_Poland-Ukraine/ that could prove useful. Be sure to post in the Files area, not the Photos folder, of that Group. Of course, you need to first establish membership. Others might suggest alternative places to post the image. They accept image files and gedcom files. Since the document mentions Krakow, a scan could be uploaded to the Malopolska board at http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.ceeurope.poland.malopolskie/mb.ashx Steve, wherever the scan gets posted, be sure to send this list a link to the URL so the folks here can see what you've got. :-) -Marie
