Good morning Listers, Rather than go to Dennis and thank him personally for sending this remarkable link to Polish Christmas music I decided to come to the Forum for a number of reasons. The first and foremost is that I think Dennis has read my mind. A few days ago I was re-reading James Michener's remarkable novel "Poland." The Polish carol "Lulaj-ze, Jezuniu" was referred to a few times, mostly as part of a Chopin piece. That song has stayed with me; a vague memory always in the background of my mind. I heard the music for that timeless piece on Dennis' site. For those of you who may not read Polish, I can translate the first two lines because now I remember. "Lulaj-ze, Jezuniu, moja perelko, Lulaj-ze, Jezuniu, me piescidelko. . . ." "Rockabye, little Jesus, my little pearl, Rockabye, little Jesus, my sweet little one. . . " Thank you, Dennis.
