Mary and others: Please ignore my last posting about not being able to decipher Katarzyna's town of birth on the original image of the ship's passenger list - Mary has since correctly pointed out that the initial letter in both towns I was looking at is "H", and each refers to the same small village: HUJSKO. So that part of the mystery is solved...! I am very grateful for the wonderful help I have gotten from members of this List.
