Hi Laurence, Thank you for helping me brainstorm. This is exactly the kind of help I was hoping to find here in this group -- the most logical explanation for obtaining the films available. I have the Wysocko just north of Przemsyl film on order. I sure hope it comes in soon. I can't wait to see who's there. In my original request, I did not want to add too much personal family hearsay story, but the son of Stefan Szelest is 83 and told me that he remembers his dad trying to explain to him where his family was from in Europe. Stefan always proudly said he was Ukrainian, but that his hometown always had borders changing, so sometimes they would be in Ukraine, then change to Poland, and they were under Austria's rule, so it was hard to keep it all straight. This story encourages me to believe I will find the family in Wysocko just north of Przemsyl. At least, this is where I will start. Keeping fingers crossed here. Where I find the Szelests for one cousin, I will find the Zommer/Zomyrs for the other cousin. I'll be sure to update the group on what I find. Again, thank you so much for your intelligent and educational help.
