    3. Hi Bobbi WYSOCKO is about 6 miles SE of Jaroslaw Miasto (Jaroslaw City). While there are other villages named Wysocko in contemporary Poland, this one fits your criteria of having been in the former Crownland of Galicia and having had Greek Catholic residents. I cannot offer any guess as to which Wysocko is your best bet to research first. Wysocko near Brody, Wysocko near Jaroslaw, Wysocko Wizne and Wysocko Nizne near Turka all fit your criteria. I can only add that the surname SZELEST can still be found today in the Rzeszow and Przemysl areas which would include Jaroslaw, but the surname ZOMMER cannot. And both surnames can be found in the "new" western Polish provinces where folks forcibly removed from SE Poland were likely to have been resettled because of "Akcja Wisla" in 1947. Is that a tie-breaker for your decision? I'm not sure. So, when it comes to choosing an LDS microfilm, it's largely a case of "you pays your money and you takes your chances". 3. Thank you Dennis. I suspect my research will be hunt & peck. I guess I will just start with one film and go from there. As to my other questions, does anyone have any input on that? I would like to request the baptismal/birth documents for Stefan Szelest and Tadej/Tadeusz Zommer born in 1895 and 1881 respectively. These dates are not included on the available LDS films. Where do we write to request these?
