The found the marriage banns records for my grandparents...a real treasure of info. It indicated not only the religion of the couple but where they were born and grew up and where they were presently living; parents' names, house numbers. The date of the wedding was noted...very valuable if marriage records are not found. The record of banns included all the villages which belonged to that parish. The parish I am referring to is Kopyczynce, LDS film #2006731 Part 4. A new cousin a day, keeps the boredom away....eleanor

Eleanor: Does this film show any other villages in the district of Kopyczynce? Husiatyn raion is in this district and the village of Chorostkow and others in the same area. I am wondering if there might be anything of interest for my research.
