Hi, I am a newbie to this, so please be patient. I was recently reading a book by Steven Kashuba (not sure howe we are related) about his family in Galicia. It got me thinking about my grandfather, who was born in Buczacz in 1909, 100 years ago. Keith: Get a copy of POLISH ROOTS by Rosemary A.; Chorzempa. It is a basic for research into Polish ancestries. Try the library. A new book, which I have not seen, but highly recommended is GOING HOME: A GUIDE TO POLISH-AMERICAN FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH by Jonathan D. Shea.
