Nice work, Mary. Again, I tip my hat to you. The village of Zeteny (today Zatin) is in Slovakia and about 220 miles east of Bratislava and/or 30 miles southeast of Kosice. Slovakia was part of the Kingdom of Hungary in the 19th Century, so the location given on the manifests makes complete sense. There you go, Lou. While we can't be 100% certain this is your correct ancestral village (until an actual viewing of the parish records provides confirmation), it is certainly a very good candidate and a place worth investigating. All's well that ends well. Good luck with your endeavor!
