    3. Hi Lou Disability is not a good excuse. I too am disabled and have been for about 9 years now. Just as I was released from the hospital, my Aunt Betty died and I was unable to attend her wake or funeral. Aunt Betty was the person in our family who best knew our family tree and maintained the links to our relatives in Poland. Upon her death, all that information was lost. Relatives and family history are precious commodities so I took on the responsibility of rediscovering our family information and restoring communications. It wasn't easy. It took time. It took work. It took inventiveness. But I got the job done. And I put it all online to share with everyone and so that it would not be lost again. The most personally fulfilling part on my endeavor was re-establishing contact with my family in Poland. By about 6 years ago, most of my family history work was done and contact fully restored. (Well, except for a few cousins in Grabiny who, I suspect, think I want to claim their old ancestral family farm.) Today, I exchange greetings, photos, packages, laughs and tears with my Polish cousins just like with my American cousins. Here is Cousin Darek's daughter's First Communion at All Saints Church in Straszecin: http://spuscizna.org/bieniasz/communion.html Now, are you trying to tell me that I am somehow better or more talented than you? Think again. God never gives us a cross heavier than we can bear. Whenever I need help, I simply ask the Holy Spirit for some enlightenment. You'd be surprised how much we are blessed every single day. You still have talents, use them. By the way, the greatest blessing with being disabled is not having to mow the lawn. Yes, there are perks. Cheers!
