The link you gave me for Polish theaters did list a few of her roles in Polish. It did not allow me to switch to English, however. It did give me a bit of information - for which I am grateful. Hello Dorothy If you have Mozilla firefox, http://www.google.ca/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official they have a section at the top of their page called "more" and in there you will find a sub-section called "translate". It will help if there is no English and will translate almost most languages. Just copy and paste! Simple as that. At times is may look strange but the general result is excellent. Thank you Kolya, The translation site you forwarded was helpful. I was able to copy/ paste the information I found on Wanda Majrzycka regarding some of the roles she played in Krakow and Teatr Narodowy Warsaw. I also found some information at www.indeks.karta.org.pl/represje sowieckie that reads: This goes on to list many names including Wanda Majchrzycka. However the translation of that document left me puzzling because the English translation read: "In the years 1988-2002 with the "index of repressed" - cooperated: KARTA: . . ." I am still puzzling over whether this means she cooperated in compiling the index OR did she cooperate with the repression?? Big difference in meaning, here, the translation missed the mark for me. My Polish is not good enough to make out the meaning and the translation left me puzzled too. If you, Kolya, or anyone on the list has a better command of the Polish language than I do, I'd be grateful for any help you can offer.
