He was my Great Grandfather. He was married to Julie Ann Reese. I have been looking for his birth certificate and his father and mother. How did you know that he lived in the Nancy Harrison Norton Tison household with William H Norton in 1850 (by census)? You can see what we have on them in the Allcorn-Rowe Tree. Will appreciate any new information or correction on our information. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [GALEE] ACCUS BASS / NEEDHAM BASS
    2. Connie White
    3. Looking for information on the father of ACCUS BASS. Accus born in 1824 in North Carolina, married Malinda Houston in 1848 and Roxanna Aycock in 1856. I have found records showing him in Dooly County, Lee County, Sumter County and Worth County, Georgia. Have found various spellings of Accus including Acus, Achias, Ackies, Acceus, and even Icus. Have seen that a lot of people list Accus father as NEEDHAM BASS. I have yet to find any documentation to support that, but maybe I'm overlooking something. Any info is appreciated.

He executed a Will prior to enlisting in the Civil War that indicated he owned property in Terrell County GA formerly situated in LEE COUNTY GA. I know a portion of the property was sold by Robert E. Wright's hiers to the Kersey Family several years after his death. The portion of property sold to the Kersey Family described the property including Wolf Creek. Thank you so much for your help. 3. Thank you, but I failed to give you a date of birth on Jacob which is abt 1816 in Georgia and he died abt 1849 in Pulaski Co., Georgia. He married Mary Harrell 31 Jul 1842. I apologize for my oversight which caused you to waste your time. There are records located at the Terrell County Library but their staff is not all that helpful. Lee County, GA has many records at the Probate Court Office.
