Her mother was Gatsyann Elkins she married Bartly Wynn at 16 he was 57. I was always told that Gatsyann had Amanda out of wedlock,by a man named Mize. He had many children out of wedlock and didn't claim anyone of them.He was supposedly a wealthy man and took advantage of all these young gilrs by making promises he never kept. Any way Gatsyanns father and Bartly Wynn were friends and the marriage was arranged. Amanda Frances went by Wynn although he never adopted her.
