Keen, my great grandfather. Laurens County records show his marriage to my great grandmother Helen Twitty on December 3, 1903 in Laurens County. Helen (one of nine children) is the daughter of Peter Simmons Twitty, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Dublin, who died in 1901 and is buried in the Old City Cemetery in Dublin. Sometime between 1903 and 1910, Edward and Helen left Dublin with their two sons, Edward and Harold McDonald Keen (my grandfather) and moved to Citrus County (Homasassa Springs) Florida where they owned and operated a fish camp. Edward T. Keen (Sr.) died in 1910 from malaria and is supposedly buried in Citrus County Florida. I only have the date of marriage and date of death; I have no information on his date/place of birth, parents or siblings.
