Looking for a Mary Holland b. ca 1810 who may have married Robert "Bob" Smith. They may have been the parents of Martha C. Smith who m. Samuel Franklin Scarborough/died in the Civil War. Martha C. Smith and Samuel Franklin Scarborough had these children: Matthew Judson Scarborough b. 24 Sep. 1856 d. 18 Oct. 1932 m. Elizabeth Wade Samuel Franklin Scarborough, Jr. b. 25 Feb. 1863 m. 1/Laura Rhinehart 2/Mattie Threat Bates Thomas J. Scarborough/died young in wagon accident/never married *Emma Victoria Scarborough b. 17 June 1859 d. 25 March 1952 (my great grandmother) who m. Jefferson Davis Daniell on 30 Sep. 1897 in Laurens County, GA. I do not know (for certain) about the Mary Holland connection so am hoping there are some Holland researchers who may respond - with more knowledge on this line. Thanks. Fran in SC
