Henry Gay, according to the 1870 Laurens Census, was born about 1828, and according to the 1880 census, was born about 1830. According to his Confederate notations, he was born in 1841. That is a big difference. Cinderella was born about 1830 or 1841. Which census is the most nearly correct for her???
