I don't know who John's parents are, but this same family is found on the 1870 Laurens Co. census. Some of the children were listed with their middle name in 1860 and with their first name in 1870. The children are: Marion, Mandy, Elisabeth ( Sarah in 1870 ), Franklin ( John F. in 1870 ), Willis, Jasper, Lafayette ( Fayette in 1870, his full name is Andrew Lafayette ), Washington ( George in 1870 ) and Mary. Andrew Lafayette married Sarah Elizabeth Bracewell, daughter of John Charles Bracewell and Elizabeth Jane Robertson.
