I an looking for info on Ascerbus Brookins (Brookens) also spelled Assurvus or Serbus. He was born abt 1824 in Ga., possible Laurens County. He was in Tallapoosa County Ala iin 1860 and 1850. I noticed on the 1850 census his neighbors were William F. Dean and Samuel L. Dean, both born in Ga. Thanks for any help you can offer. Diane Brookins
