Le: I am a descendant of Samuel Franklin Scarborough who died in the Civil War and his wife, Martha "Patsy" Smith. They had four children 1/Matthew Judson Scarborough 1856 -1932 2/Emma Victoria Scarborough 1859 -1952 (my great grandmother whom I knew well) who m. Jefferson Davis Daniell of Cadwell, GA 3/Thomas died at about age 21 in accident/never married and 4/Samuel Franklin Scarborough, Jr. b. 1863. I have additional info on these people...but do not know parents of Samuel Franklin Scarborough, Sr. The father of Martha "Patsy" Smith was Robert "Bob" Smith of Laurens County, GA. I think I know his wife's name but am not sure enough to mention until I do more research. I would like to know more about your Laura Scarborough and Perrin or Parryn Scarborough. There was a Perrien Scarborough in Laurens County and/or Dodge County - but I have not seen this line connected to the Samuel Franklin Scarborough, Sr line...maybe there is a connection and we (and they) have not found it.
