Surnames: Jones/ Gray of Georgia Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zc.2ADI/1776.2.2 Message Board Post: Rose, I never knew my Grandparents, my father was Willie Gray Jones born 2-19-1918 in Uvalda, Montgomery, Georgia son of William Jones born 6-11-1888 in Dublin,Laurens, Ga and Georgia Gray not sure of her birth possible 1882 in Uvalda, Montgomery County, Georgia. I was looking at a family tree that said they called William (Willie), there was also a story that said he lost a leg as a boy when he was run over by a wagon. My dad had a sister her name was Lutrelle Jones Jackson Chambers, she was born 12-26-1914 in Uvalda. My mother told me my father said one of his Great grandfathers came over with his TWIN brother from Ireland many years ago. I dont know if this is the truth or not,but I have always found this story interesting.I have know idea who John B. Jones's parent are I can only guess. Do you know of any siblings for John B ? .
