There is also speculation that she was named Leodicy, last name unknown. Hemoved to Laurens County in 1807 when it was created and was a member of the first grand jury. He also was a slave ownder. His home was located on Rocky Creek on the original Chicken Road. This road was cut through the forest and followed an old Indian trail from the ferry on the Oconee River to the ocmulgee River at Hartford. There is a great deal of information on him at the Laurens County courthouse if you ever get there. i have lots of him but cannot locate it at the momemt. Hope this helps
