Trudie Brantley Parr 02/15/02 WRIGHTSVILLE- Trudie Brantley Parr, 94, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. McArthur Brantley and Rev. John Bargeron will officiate. Ms. Parr died Wednesday. Born in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Elizabeth Stokes Brantley. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and a homemaker, farmer and a practical nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charlie W. Parr, Sr. and a daughter, the late Nell Sanders. Survivors include to sons, Willie E. (Dorothy) Parr of Wrightsville, Charlie W. (Letha) Parr of Mableton; one sister, Tossie Moye of Wrightsville; sisters-in-law, Ruby Brantley and Evelyn Brantley both of Wrightsville and Ethel Hutcheson of Mableton; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ken Sanders, David Parr, Willie Parr, Steve Parr, Wade Parr, and Arnold Ivey. Stanley Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
