I have Duncan born in 1848. He was son of William born in NC and brother to John Lee Pharis. The children were John Lee, Mary J., Catherine, James, Sarah, Duncan, Willis.Effingham Co., is not far from Laurens Co. going toward Savannah. You probably have this much. I know a lot about the brother James I. Pharis buried at Bluewater Church in Laurens Co., and I have his death certificate and civil war papers. I will keep looking through all my stuff and see if I can find more on Duncan. I have both volumes of History of Laurens Co., maybe there is something there. I wish we could get all the Pharis family together perhaps William line and share info. It would be great to have a reunion.
